how much?
my wedding packages start at $5,000. you can check out my pricing page for details on the three different packages I offer. I prefer to be there all day, not just for a set number of hours. two of my three packages include unlimited time because I believe in capturing the full story—start to finish. that said, I also understand that budgets matter, which is why I offer the third package. some of the best moments happen at the very end of the night, and some of the most meaningful details unfold at the very beginning, and I really want to be there to capture them all!
how would you describe your style?
I call my style vintage-documentary. other words that describe my work are photojournalistic, emphasis on candids, art-driven, and storytelling. but what does that mean? my approach to photography is natural rather than staged. I focus on documenting the day as it unfolds rather than setting things up to look a certain way. I do this for a few reasons. one, you’re spending a lot of money on your wedding—I want you to be a part of the party. I don’t want to take you away for two hours of family formals and endless couples’ portraits. I want you to spend as much time as possible celebrating with friends and family. of course, we’ll do portraits and formals, but in a way that feels easy and effortless. two, I want your day to be captured authentically, the mess and all. it's all part of your story!
as for my editing style, my edits look filmic and timeless. I avoid trendy edits that will become outdated. film is timeless because we’ve been taking pictures on film longer than digital has been around. when your eye sees a film photo, it feels natural and real because you've likely seen more film photos than digital. unless you're just calling me old... ever look at wedding photos from the early oughts when we started using digital? yellow skies, oversaturated colors—we cringe at that editing style today. my mission is to make sure that when you look back at your wedding album 20 years from now, it still feels classic and true to the moment.
how many photos will I receive?
It depends on the size of the wedding, but usually in the 500-750 range. I emphasize quality over quantity.
can we see a full gallery?
of course! just ask.
do you shoot film?
yes! but I am a hybrid shooter, I will not shoot an entire wedding with just film... unless you really want that, then let's talk. maybe you can convince me.
do you offer videography?
I offer a super 8, film videos. remember that whole timeless thing? I do not offer digital videos. if you want a full production video, I can make a recommendation.
what resolution will my photos be?
I deliver full resolution images, shot from my 45 megapixel camera. a typical photo size can range anywhere from 20mb to 45mb, depending on the image, crop and detail.
how do we ensure open communication with you?
our communication is extremely important to me. call, text, email me whenever. I am here to help.
do I receive print rights with all my digital files?
yes. if you would like help in the printing process, you have the option to order through me, and I will take care of the proofing, printing and delivery process.
how will I receive my photos?
you will receive an online gallery where you can download the digital files. you will also have access to it forever. I can offer this because I’m self-hosted, meaning I own and operate my own server where your files will live. this means I have 100% control over them; they aren't stored on some third-party cloud service that may or may not be in business in 10 years.
how long will it take to receive the photos?
a sneak peak within 24 hrs* and a full gallery within 4 weeks. one of my missions is to get them back as fast as humanly possible. I believe it is unacceptable to return wedding photos 4 months after the wedding. I only take on one wedding a weekend, in order to get you your photos faster.
*the wedding is priority, I will do everything in my power to achieve this, there are times it may take an extra day or so.
do you travel?
yes, travel is included within the 5 boroughs. if you are outside of nyc, an additional travel fee of $0.67 per mile will apply. if the distance exceeds 200 miles, an additional $250 charge will apply.
are you insured?
yes, I am fully insured through professional photographers of america and berkshire hathaway. if your venue needs proof of insurance, just let me know and I would be happy to provide that for you.
are there any additional hidden fees?
nope. everything listed on my pricing page is all that I will charge you. no additional taxes or fees will be added. it's important to me to be transparent about my pricing. if you would like to add more physical items afterwards, or if you want to add more pages to a photo book than what your package comes with, there will be an additional cost. but this is totally optional and up to you.
why don't you include free engagement sessions with your wedding bookings?
nothing is free. if someone is selling you a free engagement session, the price is simply bake into the wedding cost. I'd rather you decide what you would like to hire me for. engagement sessions aren't for everyone.
what's your cancellation policy?
depends on the situation. if you decide to cancel (6+ months before the wedding), you will lose your 25% deposit, the remaining will be refunded. but I'm also a human, if something tragic happens, you will receive a full refund.

my process
1. consultation call. afterwards, I will send you an in-depth questionnaire to answer so I can begin to understand the vision you have for your wedding day.
2. once the questionnaire is returned, I will review it, customize or finalize the quote, and send you an official proposal.
3. a 25% deposit of the total cost is required to confirm booking. the remaining 75% will be split into three additional invoices (25% each), with the final invoice due a few weeks before the wedding.
4. in-person sit down to discuss your vision and go over the questionnaire, usually over coffee or a drink.
5. I create a custom plan and timeline for your day based on all the information you’ve provided. we go over a shot list of all the must-have shots and moments.
6. a second sit down to go over the timeline and any last minute questions you may have before your wedding. usually a few weeks out.
7. wedding day. I show up early, stay till the end and before you are on your honeymoon, you will receive a sneak peak of the photos.
8. full gallery delivered within 4 weeks time.
9. virtual or in-person meeting to go over print options, if desired.
